HILL PROFILE PROJECT
With improved skis and flight suits, ski flyers
are generating more lift and flying much greater
distances. This requires that every ski flying
facility modify (flatten) it landing slope. For
Copper Peak the landing slope will be decreased for
41 degrees to 36 degrees by filling with some 1500
cubic yards of fill. This $250,000 project also
includes building a snow-making capability, a new
judges stand, rock stabilization and protective
side boards. The Board of Directors welcomes and
encourages financial support individuals,
businesses, corporations and foundations for this
project.
